Miracle Of Music

Miracle of Music ( MOM ) is a non-profit foundation conceived by celebrated conductor Maestro Myung-Whun Chung . Having devoted his life to classical music, Maestro Chung experiences daily the miraculous power of these beautiful compositions that, centuries later, are still able to gather a diverse mass of people into one hall, and hold them enthralled.

It is the foundation's goal to spread the miracle of music to other aspects of life. Through the medium of music, MOM dedicates itself to humanitarian causes such as raising ecological awareness, and offering opportunities to underprivileged youth.

Recently MOM worked with an orphanage in Busan, Korea. Maestro and his son Min Chung rehearsed with the orphanage orchestra, procured better instruments, invited guest musicians, motivated the students... Boystown Symphony Orchestra began to give benefit concerts for the orphanage. The performances so impressed and touched the public that the orchestra was invited to make a Carnegie Hall debut in 2010. To the students' great excitement, they will get on the plane for the first time and travel the world.
